My real name is Alejandro Guerrero Ruiz aka Alex.

I was born in 1979, in Barcelona, Spain, where I lived for 22 years. I graduated that year in Political Sciences (2001), at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. I decided to move to Madrid, where I got a M.A. degree in Economic development at the Complutense University of Madrid. The Juan March Institute granted me with a four-year scholarship, really helping me to get a Master of Arts in Social Sciences in 2004. At the present, I'm running for a Ph.D. at the Autonomous University of Madrid, but most of my research is going to be held at the US. I also achieved another scholarship by La Caixa savings bank to complete my thesis in United States|America from 2006 onwards at Yale University. I have been in much of Western Europe, United States, Central America and South America. I'm a lover of Latin America's history and people. I have lived for some time in Guatemala (2000) and Peru (2005).
